I usually wear a 2x but find that if I buy my size in a coat it’s tight because I usually wear sweatshirts and whatnot underneath, especially the arms are tight. I got this one in a 5x to make sure I had plenty of room so I could actually zip it up if I wanted to. The coat is truly huge and exactly what I wanted. I would recommend to anyone that they should get a size up.Also, I was looking for an inexpensive plus size coat that could take some wear and tear because I work with dogs that jump on me all the time. The shell of the coat seems pretty sturdy but I haven’t tested it out on the disrespectful dogs yet.The label says, “machine washable” but “do not tumble dry”, so probably “dry clean” is the safest bet.my wife like these coats but not as described when coming to the size had to send back several timesThe size fits nicely. The lowest temperature where I used this coat was 29 degrees F. I was wearing a med sweater underneath and this coat kept me warm. The nicest feature is protection from the wind and it withstands a light drizzle. I am very satisfied with this purchase. BTW lovely color too.
